The Family Constellation is an approach of Phenomenological Systemic Psychotherapy created by the German Bert Hellinger, philosopher, theologian and psychotherapist.

There were years of researches with families, companies and organizations in several places of the world, bringing diagnosis and solution of problems and conflicts. The result was a simple, yet profound and effective approach, based on Three Primordial Systemic Laws (The Orders of Love) that govern the balance of the system we are part of, that govern life.

By placing the individual within his family and/or the family system, he experiences his place and thus can be in balance with the members of his system and with himself, which clearly brings fullness and fluidity to his life.

Bert Hellinger considered that 50% of our problems are of Systemic origin. We are born into our family and are connected by pure love, which has existed since the emergence of our family and ancestors. Everything in life is systemic – financial system, governmental system, even our body is systemic, because it presents the interaction between several organs, which work for the maintenance of life.

 The human being is inserted in systems that directly impact its results. If one organ in our body is not functioning properly, the body suffers the consequences of this. If someone in the family system is out of place, for example, the other members of the family will also suffer the consequences of this, whether consciously or unconsciously. And then life doesn’t flow, which ends up bringing various kinds of challenges to our daily lives, including illness.

We end up going through life in a very irregular way, with financial problems, relationship problems, depression, hereditary diseases, among other issues – all because we unconsciously assume roles within our family system out of loyalty to it, thus repeating familiar patterns. When we return to our place within our system, and also when we recognize the place of all who belong to it, we get our life back and it starts to flow again in an extraordinary way. Thus we feel free and full.

Family Constellations bring strength and balance, not only to our lives, but also to our entire family system, thus re-signifying connections that would cause many stories to repeat themselves in the course of our lives and with our family members.

Therefore, Family Constellations help to solve problems of relationships in general (couple, children, among others…), addictions, emotional and financial problems… even health problems can be understood, softened and many times solved with the help of Family Constellations.

It is important to point out that the solution only occurs when the person is really willing to do so, because it is necessary to take your life as it was and as it is, and only then will you be able to move forward and achieve fullness and prosperity as a whole.

We are unique and singular individuals, however, we are part of a larger, more complex and complete system. The Family Constellation presents a vision with feeling of how the individual is and how he fits in this context.
